If you are in a major like mine, psychology, you know all too well the pain of having to read textbook chapters for an upcoming exam.

Usually professors will dedicate a certain percentage of the exam to questions simply from the textbook. I have had tests that have reached up to 90% textbook.

Why do Professors Use Textbooks?

To make you do less work when they do nothing.

Many classes have to meet a certain number of hours per work per week such as 10 hours a week. Profs use textbooks to inflate this time.

The reason professors like to use textbook questions — is because they come with the textbook and they can spend less time making exam questions. Recognizing that how wack this is, I have developed a technique that goes hand in hand with my previous video, a link should appear, on how to use anki with lecture notes.

What will be covered in this blog?

1. Why textbook studying is normally hard?

2. How I read through my textbooks?

3. Tips
